Machine wash at 30° and iron at medium temperature on the reverse of the garment.

The fabric:
The traditional technique used for the khaki and blue floral print is wood block printing. The design is hand carved into wood beforehand. The printers have to remake the blocks on average every 300 meters of printing. The printer is as meticulous in engraving the design as he is in laying the block during printing.

100 % KALA COTON

Je suis tombées amoureuses du kala cotton qui est une variété indigène propre à la région du Gujarat (nord de l'Inde). Pourquoi ? Tout simplement parce que sa production est écologique et peu énergivore : le Kala coton pousse dans une des région des plus arides de l'Inde et pousse grâce à l'eau de la pluie (la mousson principalement) ! Sa fabrication nécessite donc très peu d'eau et aucun pesticides. C'est également une matière très résistante, semblable au lin. Parfaite pour la durabilité de vos vêtements ! :)
