On our last trip to India, we discovered these treasures that can be found nowhere else but in remote Indian villages. They are entirely handmade, mounted and painted. Clay jewelry is very common in India and is a craft practiced by women in many village homes. Our collection was designed with them in the Karnataka region. Working with clay leaves room for infinite creativity with a multitude of possibilities of shapes and designs to model, and lots of color combinations!
N.B.: Some details in shape and color shades may vary, as each piece of jewelry is handcrafted.
Composition: Clay, clay.
Care Tip: Being made of clay, the jewelry should be stored in its original box when you travel, so it doesn't get crushed. If possible, try to avoid dropping, bumping or scratching them. Jewelry should be removed before going in the water.
Choosing the clasp:The original clasp on the jewelry is a metal clasp. If you're sensitive or prone to infections, you can opt for a 925 silver clasp for an additional $1. And finally, for those who don't have pierced ears, it's also possible for you, as we offer sell earrings as clips for an additional 2€!
