On our last trip to India, we found these treasures that can be found nowhere else but in remote Indian villages. They are entirely handmade, mounted and painted. Clay jewelry is very common in India and is a craft practiced by women in many village homes. Our collection was designed with them in the Karnataka region. Working with clay leaves room for infinite creativity with a multitude of possibilities of shapes and designs to model, and lots of color combinations!

Care Tip: Being made of clay, the jewelry should be stored in its original box when traveling so that it does not get crushed. If possible, try to avoid dropping, bumping or scratching them. Jewelry should be removed before going in the water.
Choice of fastener:The original jewelry fastener is a metal clasp. If you're sensitive or prone to infections, you can opt for a 925 silver clasp for an additional $1.
