We love the Alleyppey top with its flared sleeves, straight cut and bare shoulders...A look that is full of femininity ! The cut is deliberately close to the armpits with an elastic band that goes around the shoulders so that the top does not go up too much above the shoulders! You won't have to reposition your off-shoulder top every minute !
Size: XS/S/M/L. Morgane wears a size S. She is 1m65 tall, shoulder width: 40 cm, waist circumference: 60 cm, chest circumference: 78 cm.
Maintenance : Machine wash at 30° (need the color to completely bleed for the first 2 washes) and iron at medium temperature on the back of the garment.
Fabric: 100% cotton, naturally dyed with indigo and Jaggerry sugar (unrefined Indian sugar). This type of printing is called Ajrak. It is a fabric printed with wooden stamps. It is printed by the Khatris community of Kutch Gujarat. This fabric is distinguished by its blue and red colors and intricate floral and geometric patterns. The making of an ajrak requires a lot of skill and patience. Between the preparation of the fabric, its many washes, dyeing and printing with wooden blocks, until its final cleaning, there are no less than 14 to 16 stages of work to achieve the final result.
The first few uses of the garment may leave a deposit of indigo colored powder on your skin, but it goes away in the shower, no risk.
